What is it? Why is it useful?

Training Modules, an App and a Trainer’s Handbook designed to support the development of Intercultural Communication Competences in Care Professionals working in the Social and Healthcare sectors. – The 10 Learning Modules are designed to strengthen the intercultural competences of care professionals and to support them in their work with people from different national, ethnic and social backgrounds. – The Trainer’s Handbook contains information to assist in the delivery of the I-Care Training Modules. It explores the issues of delivering sensitive subjects to learners by developing a positive learning climate in which learners are free to express and explore their beliefs in a constructive way, whilst ensuring that everyone is included in the discussions and learning is taking place. – The I-CARE App provides mobile access to these learning materials and helpful information designed to help people working in the sector to be more informed and to learn ‘wherever and whenever’.

Do’s/Don’ts and practical instructions

The I-CARE App can be downloaded using the QR-Codes on the website: https://www.i-care-project.net/app/ Once you have completed the activities in the app, you will be rewarded with the I-CARE badge. (A digital badge is an indicator of accomplishment or skill that can be displayed, accessed, and verified online.) The badge will be automatically sent to your e-mail address. Available in English, German, Italian, Greek and Danish.
