The Evolving Role of the CVET Educator

This module explores the digital skills and competences that L&D professionals need to effectively support the upskilling and reskilling of adult learners through Continuing Vocational Education and Training (CVET). While it provides an overview of a range of digital learning approaches, the focus is on the development of the specific digital skills needed to support the transition from traditional approaches of ‘content developers and presenters’ to those of ‘learning facilitators, meaning makers and enablers’. The focus is therefore on those digital skills that are considered to be essential in the context of developing and delivering blended, collaborative, personalised and self-directed learning programmes for adult learners.
